White Water Rafting

If you’re looking for fun and adventure on a river you won’t find anything more exciting or intense than tackling big rapids in an inflatable raft. The grade 3 rapids will bash and bend your raft as you try to paddle a course through raging torrents. There will be between six and eight people in your raft plus your instructor. He will teach you how to control the raft on still water before you head off down the course. Listen to his commands and work as a team otherwise you might find yourself taking an early bath.

Extra Information

  • Minimum of 6 people and maximum of 8
  • Price is per raft and so it is cheaper if you can get 8 people in each raft
  • Wetsuits can be hired on the day or you can bring your own
  • Rafting is subject to water levels on the day. The courses in Nottingham and North Wales are able to release more water into the river. However, the course in Brecon relies completely on natural water levels and is therefore unavailable between October and March
  • If the rafting is cancelled due to low water levels you will be offered an alternative adventure activity in Brecon and a refund or alternative date in North Wales and Nottingham
