Hen Brecon Canadian Canoes

Canadian Canoes

Canadian Canoes are open canoes that need two people to steer and can also carry a third passenger. They take a bit of practice to get the hang of, but after a bit of zig-zagging you should be able to steer them in a straight line and head off down river. You can pack a picnic and a few beers into the canoe and then set off to explore stunning countryside at your own leisurely pace.

The river winds along for around 10 miles before finishing in the picturesque village of Hay-on-Wye where you will be picked up and transported back to your starting point.

Hen Brecon Horse Riding

Horse Riding

Riding horses is a marvelous way to explore the outdoors. So why not mount a steed during your hen weekend and enjoy a trek that ventures along woodland trails, across open moors and through streams or rivers. Whether you walk, trot, canter or gallop will depend on your level of experience and will be at the discretion of the instructors. Most treks last for one or two hours but more experienced riders can often opt for a half day ride and include a lunch stop at a country pub.

  • Riding hats will be provided but feel free to bring your own
