Your hen party will be booked into a friendly village pub hotel in the picturesque village of Maerdy. You will be in multi-bedded rooms with en-suite bathrooms and a cooked breakfast is included. Staying in a pub clearly has its advantages and so after a tiring day of activities you'll be happy to sit down and relax with a few pints and you can even order a delicious home cooked meal in the pub restaurant.

Activities
Gorge Walking
If your hen party like the outdoors, don’t mind getting wet and are up for a challenge then gorge walking will be perfect for them. This invigorating activity involves walking up a rocky gorge against the flow of a tumbling mountain river. Along the way you will traverse rock faces, climb up waterfalls, hop across boulders, crawl through wormholes, slide down zip wires and finally, for those daring enough, you’ll be able to leap from up to 10m (30ft) into deep sections of the river.
It’s possible to bypass any obstacle that you don’t fancy and the jumps are all optional, but gorge walking is about pushing yourself to the limit regardless of your age or level of fitness. We guarantee that you’ll love this activity during your stag weekend and that you will be left buzzing for a week.

- Wear boots or trainers and warm sensible clothing
- Do not wear jeans as these are very uncomfortable when wet
- Helmets and life jackets provided
- You will get wet so bring a complete change of clothing and a towel
- All equipment is provided
- This activity is also suitable for non-swimmers
- Duration 3-4 hours

After a tiring day of exciting activities you will no doubt be in need of some liquid refreshment. There are plenty of country pubs to choose from where you can enjoy a few glasses (or bottles!) of wine and a hearty meal.

We had a absolutely brilliant night!!! The cocktail making was fantastic and the party buss even better. The hotel was much better than I expected. After I had read reviews I was quite worried but the hotel was clean with a great room...and the staff were really friendly and helpful so that was good too...Thanx for providing a brilliant hen night. Please tell David thank you as he really saved us from the mistake I made in booking the wrong night (doh!) and answered all my questions and most of all set up the hen night with everything we wanted perfectly.

Yes we had an excellent time and I think the biggest thank you should be to you guys at Escape especially David, for making it relatively easy for me as organiser. The guy from the butler company called Harry, was lovely, prompt, polite, and very very good sport, he had no quarms about being 'quiz master' for some of the games the girls had prepared.<br> <br> The accomodation was well appointed, clean and good location...The cocktail making was fantastic, much better than similar activity that some of us had done previously with work, the mixologist was very very good and entertaining, the food provided was an adequate snack (in line with what we were expecting, we ended up staying a while and buying more) and two full drinks each plus the cocktails we made tasting was good value we thought. They were exceptionally accomodating of one of our guests who was on tranquilisers folowing a fractured lumbar spine and made sure she was comfortable and made up non alcoholic mixes for her.<br> <br> All in all a very positive experience and I have already passed on your companies details to other people. Thanks once again.

I would like to say thank you. We all had a fantastic time. The food at the restaurant you booked for us was very enjoyable. Our favourite part was the hotel. It's facilities were amazing and the staff were vey frendly. Bar service was a little slow but we were happy with the atmosphere so didn't mind waiting around a little longer for drinks...Thank you for efforts in organising this trip. It's much appreciated.

Our hen weekend was excellent and we can not fault the service we received both from yourselves and your suppliers.Hotel was excellent all rooms big, clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. Breakfast was great, cooked items very fresh and not at all greasy and a good selection of pastries, fruit and cereal. The spa was very nice but small, three of our party had massages which we all enjoyed.<br><br>Restaurant food was very nice and plentiful and all the staff friendly and welcoming, they had sat our party under a heater and provided blankets as it was a little chilly. They also gave us a free jug of sangria. The maps provided with the VIP cards were a great help in finding our way around as many of the nicer bars are spread out. <br><br>All in all an excellent night and I would have no hesitation in recommending Escape trips to my friends and would certainly use you again should I need to arrange anything similar in the future.

The hotel was really nice with a great health club and the pubs and clubs were fab...the club VIP Pass was a brilliant idea...we didn't have to queue at all and jumped ahead of about 50 people.
