Budapest Thermal Baths Overview

Budapest’s thermal baths were built by the communists in 1912 and despite the fall of communism over 20 years ago the Hungarians have managed not to update a single thing, which is what makes them so retro-fantastic!

The baths are large, ostentatious and are a great example of Art Nouveau architecture, but more importantly they offer the best hangover cure you could hope to find. You can jump from the steam room straight into the plunge pool or swim in the hot thermal springs.

As well as a refreshing dip you can also get a reviving massage and once the hangover has completely gone your gorgeous guide will serve up a round of refreshing beers.
