3-2-1...Bungee!!!! These are the last words you will hear before flinging yourself off a cable-car that is suspended 45m above the Gauya River in one of Latvia's stunning national parks. You won't have time for taking in the scenery as you free-fall towards earth with nothing but a towel, a few straps and a big rubber band to keep you from crashing into the river below. Standing on the edge of the cable car is a nerve racking experience but for those brave (or daft) enough to jump you will experience an adrenaline rush like never before.
Bungee jumping is not for the faint hearted but is a safe activity for fit and healthy people. We do not recommend it for anyone with a heart condition or back problem and you should consult your doctor about any health concerns before deciding to do this activity.
