Newcastle Curry Carnage
Whether you prefer a mild korma or a bum-burning vindaloo you are in for a culinary treat when you visit the renowned Rupali Restaurant. With more awards under their belt than any other curry house in the North East the Rupali also holds the Guinness Record for creating the world's hottest curry. A vindaloo tastes like ice cream in comparison and Gordon Ramsey (confessed curry lover) said it was the hottest curry he had ever tasted.
Of course you can have the Tikka Masala if you don't fancy blowing your head off, but just for laughs the stag gets a complimentary taster and anyone man enough to finish a whole portion gets it on the house. We must warn you though that on a recent visit the waiter said he had tried and failed four times to finish it and our own MD (who eats chillies for breakfast) only managed half a portion before he passed out.
