Activities
Horse Riding
You will be taken on a 2 hour ride through the picturesque landscape of the Black Mountains. The riding school has a large number of horses and can cater for all levels of experience.
Canadian Canoes
Canadian Canoes are open canoes that need two people to steer and can also carry a third passenger. They take a bit of practice to get the hang of, but after a bit of zig-zagging you should be able to steer them in a straight line and head off down river. You can pack a picnic and a few beers into the canoe and then set off to explore stunning countryside at your own leisurely pace.
Visit local Pubs
After a day of exciting activities you will no doubt have a thirst in need of quenching. Just five minutes from your hotel is the village of Hay-on-Wye, which has plenty of friendly pubs serving refreshing beers and tasty pub grub.

Two Nights in a Stately Home with Breakfast
Your stag party will be staying for two nights in a Stately Home with an indoor swimming pool, sauna and bar. You will be in private multi-bedded rooms and a cooked breakfast is also included. The hotel is surrounded by acres of countryside and lies just five minutes from the picturesque village of Hay-on Wye.

Life jackets will be provided but you should also be a competent swimmer.
Horse Riding
Wear riding boots or sturdy footwear with a heel
Wear long trousers and comfortable clothing that’s appropriate for the time of year.
Riding hats will be provided but feel free to bring your own.
Your instructor will assess your ability before deciding on the nature of your ride.

The stag weekend was great and everyone said how much they enjoyed it so thank you for organising such a great weekend. The clay pigeon shooting was the highlight for most I think and the instructor was incredibly friendly and made everyone feel relaxed which is a good thing considering gunds were involved. The boat trip on the Tyne was again well organised and run when we on board and I really can't fault any of the activities or the accommodation that we had. Please thank all those involved in booking everything for me as it was seamless and an excellent service throughout by you and your team.
